Studio Policy

Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the studio policy. A clear understanding of the policy will reduce confusion later on.

Session/Service Minimums:

Payment

The rate is charged by the hour and payment is required Prior to session start..  Masters are generally provided on CD and will be held in storage for six months.  If not paid for and picked up in six months, masters will be deleted.

Breaks

If during long sessions you wish to take a meal break, you may do so off the clock.  If you want to work through the meal break to listen to the session, do edits, overdubs, etc., the clock continues to run.  If you decide to go outside to smoke during session time, the clock continues to run.  If you go outside to smoke during breaks, then you may do so off the clock.  If the engineer encounters a technical problem, the time it takes to solve the problem is off the clock.

Starting Time

When you schedule time, it is expected you will arrive on time and we adjust our work schedule accordingly.  It should be understood that we will bill you from the beginning of your scheduled time regardless of what time you arrive.  Studio time is billed by the hour.

Cancellations/No Call No Show

It is required to give 24 hours notice if you need to cancel your session.  Not cancelling with 24 hours notice or being a no call no show to your session will result in a $25 fee (in addition to regular rates), that will be required to be paid before booking another session.
